About Avery
Avery is a Graduate Counseling Student pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Community, Family, and Addiction Sciences from Texas Tech University.
Avery believes that humans are mosaics, with each experience, relationship, and season of life adding a new piece to the picture. She views counseling as an opportunity to explore those pieces with curiosity and compassion, helping clients better understand and accept themselves.
She enjoys working with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, identity concerns, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. Avery believes counseling is more than a place to talk through problems; it is a relationship built on trust, authenticity, and connection. She strives to create a space where clients feel safe bringing both their victories and their struggles, knowing they will be met with support rather than judgment.
Outside of counseling, Avery enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with her dog, Boone, and her cat, Betty, who keep her on her toes.
If you are considering counseling, call or email Avery to set up your appointment.
