WHAT TO EXPECT

Unconditional Positive Regard

Talking to a therapist might be a little scary at first. However, one thing you can always expect to receive from any therapist at Elevate Counseling Group is unconditional positive regard. This simply means that any therapist (or counselor) you interact with will show you complete and total support and acceptance. Despite what you say, what you think or what you've done, you will always be met with a kind response and empathy for what you're going through.
Our Full Attention
Knowing that when you talk, someone one the listening end is totally in tune with what you are saying is...rare (unfortunately, in this day and age). At Elevate Counseling Group, you can come to expect this. When you meet with a counselor at Elevate Counseling Group, no distractions will stand in the way of you feeling heard and valued. We take pride in helping you be re-assured of your importance and worth through our intricate attentiveness to your words and needs.
Professionalism
It's one thing to talk to a friend about a problem (and there is absolutely a place for that). You should have different expectations when visiting with a trained professional. We pride ourselves in our commitment to providing some of the best therapists in Texas, right here in Rockwall. This is done by developing a culture of professionalism behind the scenes, in order to bring you a superb experience from the very first interaction with your therapist. And while we want you to feel welcomed and excited to attend counseling session, we commit to always maintaining a professional relationship with any and all clients.
Confidentiality
Something that sets counseling services apart is a therapists commitment to confidentiality. What you say in counseling, stays in counseling.* You should always be able to visit with your therapist knowing that they have your best interest in mind. The content you discuss with your therapist will always be handled with care, with the utmost regard for your safety and confidentiality. We realize that you are trusting us with privileged information. We don't take that lightly. Knowing that confidentiality is a part of counseling sessions is one thing that makes counseling so unique. You can count on your therapist at Elevate Counseling Group to safeguard your story and your identity.*
*There are certain circumstances in which a therapist is required by law to break confidentiality for the safety and protection of the client or others deemed unable to protect themselves. He or she will go over these specific situations with you prior to commencing a new counseling relationship.
